This printed coat is a statement piece but with a vintage vibe. The print has a well worn feel that gives it a feeling of being an artefact. The techno coat is cut with princess line seams that give it an a-shaped body. The back has extra fabric due to a back pleat. This coat is designed to sit neatly over your shoulders and cascade out to a skirt that has some swing. It makes a great piece to wear with leggings, narrow skirts or close fitted trousers It is fully lined and has full length sleeves, front angled welt pockets and self covered buttons. The mandarin collar provides a structured look that is complimented by the a-line hemline. This coat is lined with satin and very flattering.

Behind the design
Lyrebird Tapestry
Taking from the artwork for lyrebird and reworking it, Megan has come up with a print that looks and takes on qualities of a tapestry. Something worn and distressed. The print has been inverted but still has the lyrical rhythm of the original ink drawing.
